Payments Terms and Conditions

Payments due monthly or annually

1. NLC web, email and CMS hosting fees are payable by the customer in advance per month ahead or per annum.

1a. Monthly payment on dates: 1st, 7th, 15th or 25th.

1b. Annual payment on dates: 20th Dec or 1st Jan.

2. NLC will email clients invoices accordingly to option chosen in 1a or 1b.

3. The agreed hosting package will comprise of the agreed volume of storage and monthly data transfer volume as chosen by the client.

4. Supply of domain server bandwidth packages are subject to availability on the NLC servers.

5. NLC packages are subject to price change if implemented by NLC directly or VAT changes.

6. Clients will be notified in advanced of any package changes per email correspondence.

7. All active server hosting packages require active domain name registered at the .COZA or .COM, etc registrars.

8. Due to various factors the email server and web server speeds cannot be guaranteed as the mobile devices and computers used by the NLC client devices and computers determines the latter. NLC however strives for a 100% server uptime and exceptional fast email and web server speed.

9. On Month-to-month agreements a cancelation notice within the current paid hosting month will be required in writing/ email.

10. If a customer is suspended due to non-payment of fees, a re-activation fee of R50.00 will be charged to the customers' account.

11. NLC requires a 20 business days' notice of cancellation as per the Consumer Protection Act ("CPA").

12. The customer will be NOT be liable for the notice month as hosting is paid upfront for the month ahead.

13. NLC reserves the right to suspend accounts in arrears. The customer accepts they are still liable for their monthly fees even when the services have been suspended due to non-payment.

14. Please note that, NLC does not facilitate the transfer of existing domain names on the customer's behalf to the new web server and email server. This needs to be dealt with directly between the customer and the new relevant web and email server company.

15. It is possible that hosting packages data volumes could be exceeded by the client. NLC commits to inform clients of such scenarios to remedy usage, increase hosting package or assist with data deletion on the server.

 

Term of contract

1. The NLC hosting agreement is concluded on a month to month term or annual term.

2. The agreement can be terminated by both parties during the month.

3. The notice of client hosting termination - NLC requires a 20 business days' notice of cancellation as per the Consumer Protection Act ("CPA") of South Africa.
